Limited Brands Inc. is bringing its Henri Bendel retail concept to Las Vegas.
Henri Bendel, which calls itself the Girl’s Playground and is known for its brown-and-white-stripe theme, announced Wednesday it’s opening a women’s fashion accessory store at Fashion Show mall on the Las Vegas Strip on Aug. 29.
A second store is opening later in the year at the nearby Forum Shops at Caesars, the company said. It’s tentatively due to open in November, but a firm opening date has not been set, a spokeswoman said.
Henri Bendel calls itself a New York City icon since 1895 and says it “is one of Manhattan’s chicest shopping destinations featuring the new and the next in fashion accessories and gifts.”
The stores sell items like handbags, jewelry and gifts. Customers will leave the stores with shopping bags and boxes with the brown and white stripes.
Limited Brands, based in Columbus, Ohio, is also known for its Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works, Pink and La Senza brands.
