Hershey’s Chocolate World opens at New York-New York on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, in Las Vegas.

Hershey’s sealed its grand opening festivities last week with a few Kisses — more than a few, actually. The chocolate company promised to give away 1 million Hershey’s Kisses to celebrate the official unveiling of Hershey’s Chocolate World at New York-New York.

Also around town, celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis unveiled her restaurant at the Cromwell and a Strip sports bar closed. A French cosmetics company arrived in Las Vegas last month, as did a California-inspired retailer.
