Woods, who had struggled with heroin addiction for years, was being held on a drug possession charge at New York City’s Rikers Island jail when he began shaking violently and convulsing. He died hours later. What exactly killed him remains under investigation, as are inmate claims that both guards and medical workers took up to 20 minutes to start helping him. View photo
