OUR MISSION
We provide food, shelter and comprehensive services and inspire our community through collaboration, recognizing that each person is created in the image and likeness of God, and that God’s compassion transforms lives.

OUR GOALS
To be a lasting community resource that offers help and hope and restores a sense of dignity as it strives to meet the diverse needs of the more than 100,000 clients every year.

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES
Catholic Charities hosts various fundraising and special events throughout the calendar year to raise critical funds for those in need in our community. For more information please visit our website at CatholicCharities.com. Upcoming events include:

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Meals on Wheels Tray Line volunteer opportunities are available Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – noon
Catholic Charities welcomes volunteers to help prepare and package 15,000 meals to 2,100 homebound seniors each week. Volunteers work on the Meals on Wheels Tray Line at our St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility where they are responsible for placing appropriate portions of food items in individual trays. We provide a set of seven frozen nutritious meals once a week to homebound seniors 60 years and older.

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

  • $36 can provide a week’s worth of nutritious meals and alleviate isolation for a homebound senior.

  • $1,869 is the cost for a homebound senior to receive Meals on Wheels for an entire year.

  • $10,000 could provide pet food for all of our Meals on Wheels recipients with companions.

  • $25,000 could be used toward the replacement of a deteriorating refrigerated freezer vehicle to ensure homebound seniors receive their meals each week.

Tax-deductible contributions for Meals on Wheels or any of Catholic Charities programs and services can be made online or through the mail. For information on planned giving, please contact the Development Office at 702-387-2234. Catholic Charities is a 501(c)(3) organization.
