Nevada HAND

Nevada HAND (Housing And Neighborhood Development) improves the lives of low-income families and seniors by providing affordable housing solutions with supportive services. More than 7,200 individuals, comprised of hard-working families and seniors on fixed incomes, call a Nevada HAND community in Southern Nevada their home.

When people have safe, stable, and high-quality homes, our entire community benefits. We are committed to creating positive living environments where healthy, engaged residents can improve their economic status and take pride in their communities. We believe that providing opportunities to live well — in quality homes and through Resident Services — will help our residents reach their full potential, stabilize families, and transform lives.

Nevada faces a critical shortfall of affordable homes for its low-income residents — including seniors on fixed incomes and working families. Nevada HAND is driven to address this shortage through well-placed, well-constructed apartment communities, as well as continuing to expand the reach of our Resident Services team to help residents achieve their goals and climb the ladders of success.

Nevada HAND is more than a home. Our Resident Services team is a group of dedicated and creative professionals who connect our residents to essential resources and programs targeted at a range of personal goals. We are invested in supporting the success of our diverse residents.

■ For children and teens, we offer homework clubs, after-school programs, summer education programs, vaccination initiatives, back-to-school physical clinics, and food security programs.

■ For adults, we provide programs for workforce development, skilled parenting, financial planning, and adult education.

■ For seniors, we focus on supportive services that improve the overall quality of life as residents age in place, including programs that increase community engagement, encourage volunteerism, and promote health and wellness.

The programs and services we offer are made possible by the generous support of our community partners and donors, and by people like you. Thank you for supporting opportunities to live well.

To ensure our residents have access to the programs and services that help them, philanthropic support from individuals, foundations, and our business community is critical to our next phase of growth and impact.

Individual Gifts. Your personal donation affirms the belief that home matters to everyone. We leverage every dollar received to create meaningful opportunities for our working families and senior residents here in Southern Nevada.

Corporation & Foundation Support. We appreciate the great value that corporate and foundation partners bring to our community. Donations by your organization can significantly enhance our work and allow us to better deliver services to those in need.

Memorial & Tribute Gifts. If someone has made a difference in your life, honor them by making a difference in the life of another. Pay tribute to the memory of a loved one or special friend, celebrate a special event – a birthday, anniversary, or holiday – with a gift to Nevada HAND.

In-kind Donations. Donated goods and services can aid our programming while also alleviating costs.
