Pascal Sanchez

As chef de cuisine at Twist by Pierre Gagnaire at Mandarin Oriental, Chef Pascal Sanchez creates unforgettable French food nightly. Sanchez, a classically trained French chef, shares with VEGAS INC what makes Twist a special place to dine on our fabled Strip.

Describe your restaurant’s brand.

It’s a sign of quality and creativity. We’re doing French cuisine with the best American products in a magnificent hotel with a fantastic view of the Las Vegas Strip. It’s French with a twist.

What’s different about having a restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip versus anywhere else in the entire world?

It represents an incredible opportunity to serve quality food in an iconic city for an enthusiastic American audience.

What do you secretly tell your French friends about Las Vegas?

I’m always telling them how I’m amazed about the quality products we have here in the middle of the desert. I’m convinced that we get all the best worldwide products to serve our customers. It’s also a great local community with a lot of respect for the people who come and work here.
