The country’s largest porn industry trade show is leaving the Sands Expo for a new home.
The annual AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, which last year brought 28,000 starlets and industry execs to Las Vegas, will now take place at the Hard Rock Hotel.
It is also getting a new date. Sorry, tech geeks, but the expo no longer will coincide with the Consumer Electronics Show, the world’s largest technology convention. CES will run Jan. 10 through 13. The AVNs will open to industry insiders Jan. 18 and to the general public Jan. 19 to 21.
The convention will still culminate with the AVN Awards Show, which like last year will be held at the Palms. Owner George Maloof inked a three-year deal with the company that runs the show.
