New Olive Garden restaurant opening in northwest valley

Save room for the breadsticks: a new Olive Garden is coming to Las Vegas.

The company on Friday announced plans to open a new restaurant May 14 at 6191 Centennial Center Blvd.

At full capacity, the 7,500-square-foot restaurant will accommodate 246 customers in a dining room decorated to look like a traditional farmhouses found in Tuscany, Italy, the company said.

The restaurant is accepting applications for more than 100 jobs.

For a limited time, the restaurant, which has 800 locations in the U.S., plans to offer a 3-Course Italian Dinner for $12.95.

Hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
