An Asian dining experience has arrived at the Linq. F.A.M.E., a venue that includes a pan-Asian market as well as a restaurant, opened its first level to the public last month.

Also around town, Eva Longoria’s female-focused steakhouse closed its doors as a Hawaii-based cookie company arrived on the mainland.

A restaurant called Fōchun will occupy the upper level, and a retail store will offer F.A.M.E. and Las Vegas souvenirs. The market opens at 11 a.m.

      She by Morton’s

She by Morton's, a steakhouse aimed at female consumers, closed May 24 at the Aria.

A collaboration between Landry’s and actress Eva Longoria, the business was originally designed as a nightlife destination, but a reimagination of the space after the nightclub closed wasn't successful.

According to a statement from Scott Marshall, chief operating officer of the restaurant, the attempt to bring in a new theme was “met with considerable resistance” from the landlord, which led the restaurant to sell the space back.
