Buy $38 million Palms penthouse, and they’ll throw in a Lamborghini

Businessman Phil Maloof is trying to sell his 59th-floor penthouse at the Palms Place tower for $38 million.

Phil Maloof’s rooftop penthouse at the Palms is packed with opulence, but after sitting on the market for five months without luring a buyer, his listing agents have thrown in one more perk: A Lamborghini.

Under a fittingly flashy promotion, whoever buys Maloof’s $38 million Las Vegas party pad will get a two-year, pre-paid lease on a 2015 Lamborghini Huracán, with an option to extend the lease or buy the car when the two years are up.

Listing agents Lisa Sutton and Deven Chase, of Synergy Sotheby’s International Realty, announced the promotion with Lamborghini Las Vegas today.

The seven-speed Huracán, with a base sales price of $237,250, has a V10 engine and goes 0-124 mph in 9.9 seconds.

It pairs well with Maloof’s 27,000-square-foot mansion-in-a-high-rise.

Occupying the entire 59th floor of the Palms Place tower, on Flamingo Road west of the Strip, the Founder’s Penthouse boasts, among other things, a few dozen flat-screen TVs, an outdoor movie theater, a 20-person hot tub, a DJ booth, 30-foot ceilings, a 30-foot fireplace, private elevator access, a full gym and original Dalí and Picasso paintings.

Maloof, whose tycoon family built the Palms and for years owned the Sacramento Kings NBA team — they sold the team last year for a reported $347 million — put the penthouse up for sale in June.

The HOA dues alone are $4,481 per month, according to the listing.

Sutton said today that she and Chase have received thousands of inquiries about the property but have given just a handful of tours, as prospective buyers must show proof of funds before scheduling a walk-through.

The agents have had “serious discussions” with possible buyers, Sutton said, but no formal offers have been submitted.
