‘Chipotle for pizza,’ juice bar, new park open in Las Vegas

Looking for somewhere new to take the kids to play or a local pizza place you haven't already been to a thousand times?

You're in luck. Here are a few new businesses opening in Las Vegas, including a park and a "Chipotle for pizza," among others.

    • Aventura Park

      Aventura | 2525 S. Via Firenze, Henderson

      The growing community Inspirada welcomed its third city of Henderson park, Aventura, on Saturday. The park will offer Inspirada’s more than 2,500 residents two heating swimming pools, basketball and volleyball courts and a dog park, among other features. The park was developed by Inspirada Builders LLC, designed by AndersonBaron Landscape Architecture and built by Martin-Harris Construction.

    • Blaze Pizza.

      Blaze Pizza | 10520 S. Eastern Ave., Henderson

      Considered “the Chipotle of pizza,” California-based Blaze Pizza opened its first Nevada restaurant in the Las Vegas area on May 28. Guests order through an interactive assembly line where they can pick out fresh ingredients to custom-make their own 11-inch pizzas, which are then baked in an open-flame oven. The Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James is an investor in the business, which also offers salads, s’more pies and craft beer.

    • Cafe 6

      Cafe 6 | 4321 W. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas

      The Palms Resort introduced Cafe 6 this month, serving guests classic American comfort food with a modern twist. Aside from familiar snacks such as Salted Soft Shell Pretzels and Beer Battered Rock Shrimp, the cafe also offers unique dishes like the Dr. Pepper Shroom burger and desserts like the Ice Cream Burger, which features a chocolate cream patty served on a brioche bun. Café 6 is open Monday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. for lunch and 5 to 10 p.m. for dinner.

    • Pas De Deux Children’s Couture & Spa

      Pas De Deux Children’s Couture & Spa | 6605 Las Vegas Boulevard South, Las Vegas

      Town Square will become home to this French-inspired vintage clothing boutique Monday, featuring a variety of fashion-forward products and accessories, such as bow ties and shoes, to style infants through tweens. While parents shop, children have the opportunity to enjoy pampering services and storytelling at the Oh So Fancy Spa Parlor.

    • The Juice Standard in Henderson celebrated its grand opening Thursday, May 28, 2015, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by the Henderson Chamber of Commerce.

      The Juice Standard | 2530 St. Rose Parkway, Henderson

      The healthy juice bar opened its Henderson location May 28. Featuring menu items such as cold-pressed juices and juice cleanses, superfood smoothies and acai bowls, The Juice Standard aims to offer customers a way to “make nutritious delicious,” through a variety of tasty goods.
