Amazon hiring 1,000 full-time workers for Henderson facility

Amazon is accepting applications for more than 1,000 full-time positions for its new fulfillment center near Bruner Avenue and Bermuda Road in west Henderson.

The 600,000 square-foot facility, which is scheduled to open this year, will “support customer fulfillment by receiving large orders of inventory, largely from small and medium sized businesses, and redistributing products to fulfillment centers across the company’s operations network,” according to a statement.

The positions pay at least $15 per hour, and provide health insurance and a retirement plan with company match.

It will be the company’s third fulfillment center in Nevada. The others are in North Las Vegas and Reno.

Those applying must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma or the equivalent. The statement didn’t indicate when the jobs would begin. Apply online.
