Tropicana Las Vegas will reopen 10 a.m. Sept. 1 after being closed since mid-March out of coronavirus concerns.

“While the amenities our customers have come to know and love may be somewhat limited for the time being, the ability to safely welcome back our team members and guests remains our top priority,” said Mike Thoma, the Strip property’s assistant general manager, in a message posted online.

The casino floor will remain at 50% capacity in accordance with statewide safety standards. A host of other safety measures will also be in place, according to the statement.

Upon opening, available restaurant options will include Robert Irvine’s Public House, Red Lotus, Bacio, and Oakville.

A room for two adults for Sept. 5, the first Saturday after the resort’s opening, was going for $139 (not including taxes and fees), according to a check of the Tropicana’s website Tuesday evening.
