Burke Construction Group recently completed construction of the Perry Plaza Senior Housing Complex for the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority. The affordable-housing complex includes 112 units in 10 buildings for low-income senior citizens in the area. Thirty-three were built as mobility units to accommodate those with special needs.

City National Corporation reported second-quarter 2012 net income of $54.8 million, or $1.01 per share, an improvement of 15 percent from the second quarter of 2011. Year to date, the bank’s net income is $101.0 million, up 16 percent from the first half of 2011. City National announced that its board of directors has maintained and approved a quarterly common stock cash dividend of $0.25 per share, payable on August 15 to stockholders of record on August 1.
