TradeYard, an online wholesale inventory management and fulfillment company for retailers, recently launched at the Las Vegas World Market as a subsidiary of luxury living and style sales company LuxeYard Inc. The new company allows retailers to order merchandise by the unit and on demand at wholesale container pricing and have it shipped to a final destination without having to handle inventory or fulfillment.

Meadows Bank, headquartered in Las Vegas, posted a net income after taxes of $1.2 million, or 29 cents per share, in the first six months of 2012 compared with $1.5 million during the same period last year. The bank had a 2012 income tax expense of $608,000. Meadows Bank said it did not incur any taxes in 2011 due to the carry-forward benefit of operating losses in prior years. As of June 30, the bank’s loan portfolio was $216.4 million, representing a growth of $59 million from the previous year. Total deposits grew by $29.4 million during that period and were $222.2 million on June 30, with total reported assets of $273.6 million. The bank opened a loan production office in Reno in May and is scheduled to open a new branch in Henderson in the fourth quarter of 2012.

EHB Companies and IDB Group USA, developers of Las Vegas’ One Queensridge Place and Tivoli Village, have announced plans for a 200,000 square-foot retail development at Sahara Avenue and Hualapai Way. It is expected to open in 2013. The development will be anchored by a specialty grocer and include apparel, accessories, beauty and sporting good stores. NewMarket Advisors’ Ted Baker will serve as the landlord leasing representative.

Burke Construction Group has relocated its corporate offices to 385 Pilot Road in the Hughes Airport Center in Las Vegas. The move took effect Aug. 20. Burke, which had been in the same location for 28 years, said it moved because it expanded operations.

Sierra Nevada Corporation’s Space Systems has received a $212.5 million award from NASA to continue the design, development and testing of its Dream Chaser Space System. The Dream Chaser team has led successful efforts on two earlier phases of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.

Tuesday Morning, an off-price retail store, has relocated to 7211 S. Eastern Blvd. The new 13,000-square-foot store is in Warm Springs Marketplace.

Benchmark Association Services, an Associa company, has announced it has rebranded to Associa Nevada South. The company said the move was made to better reflect the expanded markets it serves.

Solari Hospice Care has announced plans to build a 12-bed, 13,000-square-foot inpatient hospice center on a 2-acre parcel of land at West Craig Road and Conough Lane. Solari Hospice Care, which has had a presence in Las Vegas for 10 years, currently operates a 12-bed Inpatient Hospice Center, as well as hospice services, for Clark County residents. JMA Architects was named to oversee the project.

The Clark County Business Opportunity and Workforce Development program is accepting applications through Friday from small business owners and job seekers who want to grow their companies or careers. The free program is an expansion of the county’s previous small-business development efforts, which graduated 170 firms with a combined total of more than $7.5 million in new contracts with the county and other entities.
