Medic West and the Sunrise Children’s Hospital recently unveiled a dedicated neonate and pediatric ambulance that will be used for high-risk patients who require critical care.

Healthcare Solutions, the parent company of Cypress Care and Procura Management, has entered into an agreement to acquire Las Vegas-based ScripNet, a pharmacy benefit management company serving the workers’ compensation market. The combined organization will produce annual revenue exceeding $400 million.
The American Gaming Association has launched www.globalgamingwomen.org, a website for its Global Gaming Women development initiative. GGW, launched in October at the Global Gaming Expo, was created to allow women in the gaming industry to share ideas, discuss best practices and take advantage of mentorship opportunities.
Ivory Star Productions, a Las Vegas entertainment production company, will overseeing the holiday show Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Formerly titled Gift of Lights at Sunset Park, Glittering Lights features more than 400 light displays surrounding a 2.5-mile racetrack. It will be open from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 5:30 to 10 p.m. Fridays through Sundays Nov. 16 through Jan. 6.

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s purchasing department has been awarded the Achievement of Excellence in Procurement Award for 2012. This marks the 17th consecutive year the LVCVA has won the award. The LVCVA is among five agencies in the state to receive the award. It’s also one of nearly 30 special districts in the nation to receive the honor.

The upgrade is part of a larger, multimillion-dollar investment representing the largest single year spend in the resort’s 50-year history.

The merger represents HealthCare Partners’ entry into New Mexico and makes available to ABQ Health Partners broad expertise in patient-centered, coordinated care systems. HealthCare Partners LLC also has operations in California, Nevada and Florida.
