The Athletics and Spread the Word Nevada celebrated the grand opening of the newly designed Book Nook, transforming a $15,000 investment into a vibrant literacy hub for local children and families. The project, which originated from a partnership during Nevada Reading Week, expands Spread the Word Nevada’s facilities to better serve children in Southern Nevada’s underserved communities.

The Penta Building Group has relocated its headquarters to Henderson. It also introduced its charitable initiative, Penta Cares, to the Henderson community. Illusions Attractions, the company behind Dinosaur Outpost, has acquired Velocity Esports, a family entertainment venue at Town Square Las Vegas, expanding its footprint in the experiential entertainment space. The space will be rebranded as Velocity Vegas, with a renewed focus on its arcade, bowling, and food and beverage.
