    • Several attorneys from the Las Vegas office of Gordon Silver were recently recognized in “Mountain States Super Lawyers” magazine’s annual survey of lawyers.       Jay Beltz, a pension plan services practice leader at the accounting firm Piercy Bowler Taylor and Kern, has received the Qualified Plan Administrator designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries and the Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent designation from the IRS. The ERPA permits him to represent retirement plans before the IRS.

    • Fredi Putra is general manager of Society Cafe in Encore at Wynn Las Vegas. Formerly assistant general manager, he replaces John Merrill, who has relocated to Oregon. Putra has 18 years of casual and fine dining restaurant and food service management experience.

      Randy Robison is director of state legislative affairs and Marisa Endy and Jason Chan are market development managers for CenturyLink Inc. Robison has almost 15 years of professional advocacy experience, primarily at the state level in Nevada. Endy last served as the Las Vegas marketing strategist for Chipotle Mexican Grill. Chan previously worked for All In Energy Drinks and Chan Poker.

    • Valerie A. Murzl is a member of the board of directors of The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement. She is senior vice president of human resources and training for Station Casinos.

    • Greg Carlson is an associate in the business law department at Lionel Sawyer & Collins, returning to the firm after a brief time out of state.

    • Daniel Boudreaux, Tibi Ellis, Jim Fuchs, Marissa Hawkins, Adam P. Laxalt and Laura A. Overton are new members of the board of directors of Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada. Boudreaux is senior vice president and CAO of Pinnacle Entertainment; Ellis is president and CEO of Home Helpers; Fuchs is a former executive vice president of Praxair, Inc.; Hawkins is owner of Massage Envy and Facelogic Spa; Laxalt is an associate at the law firm of Lewis and Roca, LLP; and Overton is employment counsel of International Gaming Technology. Each will serve a three-year term.
