George Ogilvie
George Ogilvie III was reappointed chairman of the Colorado River Commission of Nevada by Gov. Brian Sandoval. A fifth-generation Nevadan, Ogilvie first was appointed to the commission in 2007 and has served as its chairman since 2009. The commission acquires, manages and protects the state’s water and hydroelectric power resources from the Colorado River.

Shawn Cardinal and Judi Perez joined the board of directors for After-School All-Stars Las Vegas, a nonprofit that provides free after-school programming to more than 6,000 at-risk youth in the Clark County School District. Cardinal is Frank J. Fertitta III’s executive assistant at Fertitta Entertainment, and Perez is executive vice president and a founding member of the Siegel Group.
