She is a member of the firm’s gaming group and has spent the past 15 years of her career focused on gaming, first as in-house counsel for an Indian casino and now working with public and private gaming companies.

    • Dawn Marie Pavuk is director of development for Cure 4 the Kids Foundation. She will oversee marketing and fundraising projects for the nonprofit, which provides medical treatment to children.

    • Irene Driskill is a loan OPS utility clerk and Samantha Lamerato is an accounting specialist at Meadows Bank.

    • MGM Resorts International appointed four people to newly-created positions: Ondra Berry is vice president of diversity and inclusion development, Patty Coaley is executive director of diversity and inclusion development, Shelley Gitomer is vice president of philanthropy and community engagement and Tony Gladney is vice president of national diversity relations.

    • Jason Somerville is a team pro, brand ambassador and content creator at Ultimate Poker, Station Casinos’ real money online poker website. Somerville is a professional poker player, coach and video content producer.

    • Chris Meyer, vice president of global business sales for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, was elected vice president/president elect of the Corporate Event Marketing Association’s board of directors. He will serve one year as vice president, followed by another year as president.
