Via Seating® Introduces Genie™

Via Seating introduces Genie a crossover, mesh-back chair for task and collaboration/conference applications.

“For a mid-market mesh-back, this chair hits the sweet spot in terms of comfort, aesthetics and ergonomics,” says Nora Fenlon, Vice President of Sales & Marketing,
Via Seating and certified ergonomist. “Genie offers a wide range of features that ensure a good fit for the individual using the chair, plus it is very easy to adjust.”

Genie is organically shaped for greater mobility of the upper back and optimal spine support. The subtle seat contour and waterfall edge are designed to maximize comfort and circulation. The frame is reinforced glass nylon that surrounds the polyester elastomeric mesh.

Staying true to Via’s marketing position to make chairs easy to get, Genie is easy to specify. Choose between: black or white frame, standard or medium seat, adjustable
or fixed arm, swivel tilt or syncro control, polished or black base. Additional options are available if a more customized solution is preferred. Ergonomic add-ons include seat slider, adjustable lumbar or width-adjustable arms.

“Our color offering supports the contemporary look and feel of Genie,” says Trenton Harris, President & CEO, Via Seating. “The combination of a very strong aesthetic combined with ergonomic function is being very well received by our customers and
the industry,” added Harris.

Genie, designed by Henner Jahns, Gecco Vision, extends Via Seating’s offering of chairs for healthcare, corporations, higher education, government and standards programs.
