Green Valley Parkway, Suite 720; Humana-Summerlin located at 8975 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 100; office of Dr. Pat Simone at 70 N. Pecos Road, Henderson.
About the Las Vegas Prom Closet
The LV Prom Closet began serving Southern Nevada in 2003, when a group of local women joined forces to provide opportunities for high school-aged children living in foster care to attend their proms. Teaming up with Aly’s Prom Closet in Reno, the group of Southern Nevada women quickly realized the great need for assistance in the Las Vegas area.
Over the past nine years, LV Prom Closet has provided more than 1,200 dresses free of charge to girls who could not have otherwise attended their prom activities. The aim of LV Prom Closet is to provide a dress for any student that is unable to afford one. The LV Prom Closet provides a store-like setting with a wide variety of dress choices, as well as volunteers to help with style decisions when called upon.
The LV Prom Closet is staffed, organized and run by volunteers. All donations — goods, services, and funds — go directly to benefit the students.
