The KIA Honor Flag program has been in existence since 2003 and benefits families of those in the U.S. military who are killed in combat. Eagle Emblems, Inc. is the corporate sponsor of KIA Honor Flags. The Flag is to Honor those who have Gone Before, To Support those who Serve & To Embrace those Left Behind.

Jay Cohen, Director of KIAHonorFlag said, “It is always a special honor to help assist getting a KIA
Honor Flag Package into the hands of a Gold Star Family. It is also heart wrenching at times too. Nonetheless, we must remind those families left behind that they and their sacrifice for our nation is not forgotten. " Across the country there are Ghost Soldiers, Spirit Warriors, VFW, American Legion presenting KIA Honor Flags to the Fallen across the nation on an ongoing basis. “More and more people are appreciating, accepting and paying more respect to our Nations Fallen”, said Cohen.

Nevada’s first 2013 KIA Honor Flag signing will take place at the Tuscany Hotel & Casino’s 2nd floor convention lobby in remembrance of Specialist Doug Green.
