America First Credit Union Announces Updated
Mobile Banking Services
Remote check deposit app will save time and offer added convenience.

RIVERDALE, UT—February 28, 2013—America First Credit Union is pleased to announce an upgrade to its Mobile Banking services. The greatest benefit the new enhancement offers is the ability to deposit checks via an Android or Apple device with an app that uploads a photo of the front and back of the check, and then collects other information. Other additions include better security, improved multitasking, an iPad app and member-to-member transfers.

“People are relying on mobile devices more than ever before,” said John Lund, America First President and CEO. “America First has led the way in banking technology. We first launched our mobile platform in 2002, and in 2007 we released our first smartphone app. Now, we are excited to upgrade it, keeping pace as technology develops and offering more services that save time, provide convenience, and help our members manage their finances.”

It is important to America First Credit Union to stay current with the changing face of mobile technology. According to Pew Research Center, nearly 90 percent of U.S. adults are mobile phone owners and nearly 50 percent are smartphone users. Smartphones are outselling personal computers two to one, and their popularity is only growing.

The new Mobile Banking service has several benefits, including mobile deposit, transferring funds between member accounts and more functionality, which results in greater convenience and time-savings for America First members. www.americafirst.com/mobile
