Gray Line Worldwide Announces AirBridge Tours As New Las Vegas Licensee

LAS VEGAS (March 29, 2013) – Gray Line Worldwide, an international sightseeing and tour company operating city tours, transportation and more in over 700 destinations, has selected Las Vegas-based AirBridge Tours as its new Gray Line Las Vegas licensee. AirBridge Tours provides sightseeing, attraction tickets and transportation services in Las Vegas and surrounding areas 365 days per year.
The newly named Gray Line Las Vegas has also entered into a sub-licensing agreement with Bell Trans, premier operator of airport transfer and private charter lines. The Bell Trans fleet in Las Vegas area is now branded with the Gray Line logo.
Daniel Nisley, CEO of AirBridge Tours, said the Gray Line appointment and Bell Trans sub-licensing is part of AirBridge Tours’ transition from a domestic day trip company into a top-tier international travel and tourism provider. Nisley is confident that the partnerships will expand the company’s ability to deliver a full range of exceptional sightseeing, city tour and airport transfer services to Las Vegas visitors.
“Gray Line Worldwide is the most recognizable name and brand in sightseeing tourism around the globe,” Nisley said. “Passengers enjoy a level of comfort and security when booking with Gray Line, and we are proud to align our exceptional customer service with the prestigious brand. Having the Bell Trans vehicles bear the Gray Line Las Vegas logo will also remind airport travelers of the excellent day trip opportunities available to them in Southern Nevada.”
Gray Line Las Vegas offers daily tours to the popular tourist destinations near Las Vegas including the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Primm and Laughlin. Brad Weber, president of Gray Line Worldwide, said AirBridge Tours’ service model is one of the reasons the company was selected as the Gray Line Las Vegas licensee.
“We are thrilled to welcome AirBridge Tours to the Gray Line Worldwide family,” Weber said. “As a high-quality operation with the right combination of vision and sightseeing tourism experience, AirBridge Tours is the perfect company to help us grow Gray Line in Las Vegas.”
Gray Line Worldwide selected AirBridge Tours as the Las Vegas representative in August following a rigorous six-month application and review process. In April 2012, the previous license holder, Coach America, filed a multi-market Chapter 11 bankruptcy that included the Las Vegas market.
Nisley said the Gray Line licensing and subsequent sublicensing partnership with Bell Trans will likely spur growth in Southern Nevada’s tourism, sightseeing, and transportation sector during the next year. AirBridge hired six additional staff members in the fourth quarter as a result of the expansion.
“We are developing new booking platforms and sightseeing products that will have a major impact on the Las Vegas tourism experience,” Nisley said. “2013 will be a big year for AirBridge Tours as we maximize the potential of the Gray Line brand.”
