2012 Session of The People's Law School

Learn out about our legal system and the Nevada laws you need to know! Presented as a FREE public service by the Nevada Foundation for Consumer Education, in conjunction with the Nevada Justice Association, The People’s Law School is a unique public seminar series presented by experts in the field, including the Honorable Timothy Williams, Assemblyman Marcus Conklin, Senator Mo Denis & many more.
Since 1985, The People’s Law School has provided up-to-date information on the legal system, legislative process and specific areas most affecting Nevadans. Topics covered this year include foreclosure mediation, bankruptcy, elder law and estate planning, medical malpractice, worker’s compensation, divorce & custody, employee rights, employer obligations and more. Handbooks with written reference materials are included with the classes.
Designed to educate and empower citizens on various aspects of the law, The People’s Law School will be held at the Greenspun Hall Auditorium on the UNLV campus on Tuesday evenings -April 24, May 1, May 8 and May 15, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Attendees of all four sessions will receive a diploma.
