MassMedia Expands Health Care Division

HENDERSON, Nev. (July 11, 2013) – Paula Yakubik, managing partner of MassMedia Corporate Communications, a full-service public relations, advertising and marketing firm, recently announced the agency has acquired several prominent health care clients, marking strides in the agency’s ongoing initiative to become Southern Nevada’s leader in health care marketing.

In recent months, MassMedia has acquired numerous clients spanning a broad range of interests in the medical industry. These valued clients include Nevada Health CO-OP, Women’s Health Associates of Southern Nevada and ABQ Health Partners. The agency has also kicked off a multifaceted marketing campaign for HealthCare Partners Nevada that emphasizes the medical network’s mission to provide unprecedented comprehensive, coordinated patient care.

Each of these clients is striving to significantly improve the quality of health care in Southern Nevada. The Nevada Health CO-OP, a nonprofit health insurance alternative created under the Affordable Care Act, has a mission to create a simple, consumer-owned health plan that works easily for patients, doctors, employers and the community.

Women’s Health Associates of Southern Nevada is comprised of an elite team of gynecologists, obstetricians, midwives and therapists, who share the goal of providing women of all ages in Southern Nevada with the most advanced and comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care.

AQB Health Partners, headquartered in Albuquerque, N.M., is a physician-led, multispecialty medical group that is leading innovative and comprehensive health care services for New Mexicans. ABQ includes more than 35 medical and surgical specialties.

For HealthCare Partners Nevada, a medical network of approximately 290 primary care providers and 1,700 specialists across Southern Nevada, MassMedia chose to focus on the network’s Total Care model to highlight its vision of patient-centered, comprehensive primary, specialty, urgent and hospice care services.

Due to the increase in health care clients, MassMedia has expanded its talented team to 30 employees, to ensure that each client account achieves comprehensive and far-reaching marketing support. The agency has also expanded its office space by 30 percent, to accommodate the swift rise in health care accounts.

“MassMedia is honored and excited to represent these organizations that work tirelessly to help Nevadans access and afford the health care they need, in addition to providing the highest quality care,” Yakubik said. “Our agency is committed to raising awareness of their crucial services by engaging audiences across all forms of media. Gaining these new clients furthers MassMedia’s mission to serve as the most trusted and reliable representative of health care marketing in Southern Nevada.”

With the implementation of the Affordable Care Act, MassMedia recognizes that patients have a choice, making it imperative for doctors to market themselves and their unique services. The agency has therefore adopted new and forward-thinking capabilities for its innovative HealthCare Partners campaign, including strategic planning, social media, online marketing and public relations to educate the public about the network’s comprehensive care.

The agency also provides a vast range of services for all its clients, including: brand development, advertising and media buying, website development, online marketing and advertising, online brand management, social media and public relations.

The recent addition of such prestigious health care organization as clients is part of MassMedia’s recently adopted strategy to serve as the leading media relations agency for health care-related interests in Southern Nevada. MassMedia aims to play a vital role in raising awareness of pressing medical issues, particularly the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

In addition to its new clients, the agency already represents other medical clients, including United Blood Services, Red Rock Fertility, Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada and Good Night Pediatrics.

“Southern Nevada is strongly invested in continuing to develop its health care industry, and our agency believes we have a role to play in that,” Yakubik said. “We look forward to promoting even more of Southern Nevada’s most trusted health care organizations in the future.”
