Affected by Government Agency Shutdowns
Locally-owned credit union will look at all options to keep families afloat during tough times

RIVERDALE, Utah – Oct. 1, 2013 – America First Credit Union is helping to ease the economic burden of its members who are federal employees facing a government shutdown, by providing no-cost counseling services, loan extensions and numerous free and low-cost benefits.

“We’ll look into all possible steps that can be taken to improve our members’ financial situations,” said John B. Lund, America First president and CEO. “We’re willing to consider every option available to help keep our members afloat, including loan extensions, arranging to miss a monthly loan payment or loan modifications, if it’s beneficial to them.”
