Nevada Legal Services Honors This Year's Champions of Justice

Nevada Legal Services is sponsoring the Champions of Justice Award Luncheon on October 23, 2013 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm at the Las Vegas Country Club. This luncheon is held annually to recognize attorneys and community leaders for their contributions to the cause of equal justice in Nevada.
Among the award recipients this year, Nevada Legal Services is honoring Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as the 2013 Champion of Justice for his lifelong contributions to the cause of equal access to justice. Also being honored are local attorneys Terry Johnson, Esq. who will be awarded this year’s Pro Bono Attorney of the Year for his many hours of pro bono work, and Paul Larsen, Esq., who will be awarded a Special Recognition Award, for his commitment to pro bono service. The firm of Gordon Silver will be honored as the 2013 Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year for the firm’s support and contributions to pro bono. The Southern Nevada Senior Law Program will receive a Special Recognition Award for their hard work and dedication to serving the legal needs of Nevada’s senior citizens. Nevada Legal Services is pleased to honor these award recipients and all of the attorneys who have provided valuable pro bono services throughout the year.
