Rocket Fizz Takes Off at Village Square

LAS VEGAS – Walking into Rocket Fizz is like being transported in time to a soda parlor filled with everything from sweet colas and root beers, to contemporary and old-fashioned candies, to vintage poster and advertising memorabilia from the 50’s to the 80’s. Now the nostalgic Rocket Fizz Las Vegas, one of the latest additions at the Village Square retail, dining, entertainment and professional office space complex, is holding its Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Celebration on Thursday, February 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Located at 9410 West Sahara Avenue, Ste.120, Las Vegas, NV 89117, Rocket Fizz will delight tasters during its celebration by serving swell samples and tastings of its most popular soda pop and candies from around the country.
“We are looking forward to officially launching Rocket Fizz Las Vegas to the community during the month of love and friendship,” says Sheri Stewart, owner of Rocket Fizz Las Vegas. “It’s fitting really as our business has been a labor of love for our whole family. My husband, children and I are thrilled to be able to offer an expanded product selection at a larger and more centrally-located shop at Village Square.”
Rocket Fizz is the fifth tenant to join the 250,000 square-foot, open-air Village Square retail and office complex at the prominent corner of West Sahara Ave. and Fort Apache Rd. in the last 90 days since Westport Capital Partners LLC purchased the property. Patty’s Closet, European Antiques, and the European Massage School are now open as well. The construction of Bachi Burger is underway.
Anchored by the 70,000 square foot, 18-screen Regal Cinemas, Village Square center serves the Summerlin, Peccole Ranch, Lakes and other nearby master planned communities in Northwest Las Vegas. The new center ownership and management team is working with current, new, and future businesses to create a better customer experience and unique community space where Las Vegas residents can enjoy shopping, dinner, and a movie all within one area.
