Tech Experts Present Two Days of WordPress Website Education in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – November 7, 2013 – WordCamp Las Vegas, the only WordPress website content management system training and networking event in Southern Nevada, takes place December 14-15, 2013 at inNEVation Center, 6795 Edmond St and at Work in Progress, 317 S 6th St.
This year’s WordCamp marks its five-year anniversary. Web and technology experts from all over the country will be in attendance to present a multitude of seminars. Las Vegas WordCamp draws attendees who are interested in learning everything there is to know about WordPress, the most popular and user-friendly website content management system and blogging tool.
“From beginners to advanced level users, WordCamp is the type of event that encompasses all facets of WordPress, including how to select which plugins to use, building themes and how to strengthen the security of your website,” said Las Vegas WordCamp founder John Hawkins, who also owns 9Seeds, a WordPress development company based in Las Vegas.
“More and more websites today are run and managed on WordPress. It’s a free platform that is designed to be user-friendly, so even the business person who knows nothing about programming language or technology can learn how to run his or her own website just by using WordPress. WordCamp provides a great introduction to new users and can provide inspiration in new areas to seasoned WordPress users.” Hawkins stated.
Registration for WordCamp is now open at www.2013.vegas.wordcamp.org. Tickets are $30 and include both days. Networking events will also take place in conjunction with the camp.
