Start Pac Announces Official Opening of New Facility:
Start Pac, a woman owned manufacturer of an American made line of ground support equipment for the aviation and locomotive industries relocated to Las Vegas in 2006. Having experienced fast paced growth, even with the global economic downturn, the company is now in its 3rd building having outgrown the others.
Start Pac is a privately held family run, woman owned business, led by industry pioneer Judith Wurth and trailblazer Eve Storm. Eve Storm, the VP, is the dynamic, driving force behind the international growth of the company, proudly marketing their American made, cutting-edge portable lithium ground power starting units. Start Pac has been the ground power leader in the Aviation, Locomotive and Military Industries both domestically and internationally since its inception in 1997.
On Thursday December 12th, they are celebrating the Grand Opening of their new facility at 4357 W. Sunset Rd. In appreciation of the tremendous success they have experienced in Las Vegas, they will be celebrating not only their own success but also celebrating the thriving, myriad industries in the City of Lights. Congressman Joe Hecht is sending a representative from his office to officially open the new facility.
Although the company’s success has come with dedication and hard work, Start Pac believes that it has a civic duty and values the opportunity to share its success. In this spirit, Start Pac is linking their Grand Opening with supporting Clark County’s St. Jude’s Ranch for Children. Along with Start Pac, everyone attending is being asked to make a donation to St. Jude’s wish list, and they are very happy that representatives from St Jude’s Ranch will be attending the event.
