(LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Feb. 2, 2012) — Following a complete redecoration, Montara Meadows retirement community, located at 3150 East Tropicana Avenue in Las Vegas, hosted a three-day Grand Reopening celebration from Jan. 27-29. The celebration was enjoyed by the residents and was open to the public. Many comments were made regarding the many improvements and changes to the community.

Nevada Senator Mark Manendo and Congresswoman Dina Titus kicked off the celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Jan. 27. The Nevada Veterans of Foreign Wars then held a Wall of Honor dedication and a reception.

Guests were also invited to a Senior Health Fair on Jan. 28 that featured 17 experts from around the area, and festivities closed on Jan. 29 with a brunch that included 20 prize giveaways.
