Lipson Neilson adds Evie Lee as an associate

Las Vegas, Nev. – Evangelin “Evie” Lee has been hired as an associate attorney with the Lipson, Neilson, Cole, Seltzer & Garin, P.C. Las Vegas office.
Ms. Lee has extensive experience in various types of litigation, such as matters involving torts, construction, products liability, contract disputes and other complex litigation. Her construction law practice includes representing owners, contractors and subcontractors in mechanic’s lien litigation, including lien filing and resolution, and in government contract matters.
Ms. Lee also has experience navigating the regulatory issues associated with meeting the requirements that are a part of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the various socioeconomic programs overseen by the U.S. Small Business Administration that impact both small and large government contractors.
“Evie has a wealth of experience in complex litigation issues and is very well plugged into the Nevada business community,” said Lipson Neilson Partner Joseph Garin, who oversees the firm’s Las Vegas office. “She is very involved in regulatory issues that impact her clients.”
As part of Lipson Neilson, Ms. Lee will focus her efforts on professional liability and employment matters. She has been published in various legal trade journals and online portals, including for the State Bar of Nevada Construction Law Section newsletter.
“I joined Lipson Neilson because I was attracted to the firm's varied professional liability litigation practice, the growth of the firm in Las Vegas, and the opportunity to develop a government contracts practice,” Lee said.
Ms. Lee was recognized as a Legal Elite 2012 by Nevada Business Magazine and a 2010 Mountain States Rising Star in Construction Litigation. She is the secretary for the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Nevada, director, of the Asian Bar Association of Las Vegas, and a member of the Associated General Contractors and the National Association of Women in Construction.
Ms. Lee is licensed to practice in Nevada. She received her J.D. from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) William S. Boyd School of Law.
