Press Release

LDI in Las Vegas for Three Consecutive Years

Stamford, CT, June 21, 2012…LDI, the largest trade show and conference in the Americas focused on entertainment design and technology, has announced that, rather than return to Orlando in 2013, it will remain at the Las Vegas Convention Center in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

The decision was made after conducting surveys of both LDI attendees and exhibitors—the majority of whom said that they preferred Las Vegas to Orlando. In addition, Las Vegas is a top destination for international visitors to the US and a favorite LDI destination for international attendees.

Zari Stahl, LDI’s group show director commented about the decision to stay in Vegas: “we are excited to be in the Las Vegas Convention Center for three years in a row…this decision is what most of our professional attendees and exhibitors want. In addition, we are looking forward to the opportunity to establish continuity in one of the largest convention venues in the world.”

The 2012 LDI Tradeshow and Conference will take place in Las Vegas from October 15-21, 2012 and features over 300 exhibitors in 1000+ booths. The professional training spans the gamut of attendees skills and interests and includes LDInstitute comprehensive technology training; the LDInnovation & Technology Conference with relevant classes in lighting, audio, production, projection, LEDs, and houses of worship; Backstage Las Vegas Tours, the new Concert Sound Master Classes and the Live Design Projection Master Classes.
