THE WOMEN’S CHAMBER OF COMMERCE OF NEVADA® CELEBRATES 10TH
ANNIVERSARY LUNCHEON JUNE 29TH
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (June 2012) – The Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada® celebrates its 10th year in business, June 29th with a luncheon and Small Diversity Business Awards at the Monte Carlo Hotel from 1-3pm; ballrooms 1 & 2. Champagne Reception, Raffles, Exhibitors and Entertainment.
The Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada® (WCCNV) was established May 8, 2002 by Founder, President and CEO, Mrs. June Beland. Mrs. Beland has been a successful business owner for the past 36 years, publisher for the past 26 years and a book author for the last 12 years. She is currently a member of organizations such as The Academy of Country Music, The American Film Institute, National Association of Female Executives, National Publisher Association, and The National Writers Association, several Chambers of Commerce, the Country Music Association and many more national as well as local organizations. June will always be a woman entrepreneur, her business ventures include: ABC Publishing, President/CEO of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada®, Founder, and book author of “Who’s Who in the World of Business-Las Vegas®,” “Celebrity Registry®,” Celebrity Contact Service (now in its 13th year) and her new publication coming out this Fall the Nevada Women’s Yellow Pages®.
The Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Nevada® formed as a State Chamber and the name is as powerful as it sounds. WCCNV deals with issues concerning women from Las Vegas to the State Capital and all the way to the White House. WCCNV is not part of any other chamber; WCCNV is the State Chamber of Commerce for Women of Nevada. On May 10, 2003, WCCNV made history by celebrating its first year anniversary. This was a very important night for the women of Nevada and its Charter Members and above who received their historical Membership Plaque (a once in a lifetime presentation). These women are very proud to be a part of this historical business league and want to leave a legacy for other women and have the political power to make a difference.
The 10th WCCNV Anniversary and Small Diversity Business Awards luncheon is a fundraiser for National Scholarship Month and a member will be awarded a scholarship during the 9th Annual ATHENA Awards on November 2, 2012. WCCNV members; NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners), WIE (Women in Entertainment Media), and YPWC (Young Professional Women’s Club) along with local celebrities, government officials, corporate partners, radio and television personalities and print media are all invited to the celebration.
