Tropicana Laughlin Celebrates 5th Anniversary with a $50,000 Slot Tournament

LAUGHLIN, NV - The Tropicana Laughlin celebrates its 5th Anniversary on July 28, 2012 and intends to celebrate by holding a HUGE $50,000 Slot Tournament Friday and Saturday, July 27-28, 2012.
The first place winner of this tournament is walking away with $10,000 cash. The tournament will pay to 500th place.
Registration will be held in the Event Registration Area on Friday, July 27 between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tournament play will take place Friday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Each player will play a single 5 minute round. Entry fee is $150 and includes entrance in the tournament and a last chance drawing ticket for 2 people.
Any player not placing in the tournamen¬t will be entered into the last chance drawings on Sunday, July 29th at 1 p.m. for their share of over $3,000 in prize money.
To pre-register, participants should call the Tropicana VIP line at 1-800-343-4533 and request promo number 9132.
The 5th Anniversary Tournament will also mark the unveiling of the all new Trop-Advantage themed tournament machines! The new machines feature a higher hit frequency and place more money in action at one time, upgrading three coin-in play to a more exciting nine coin-in play, meaning that players have a greater potential for higher tournament scores.
Free cake and champagne will be served on the casino floor on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. or until the cake runs out.
