Job search at a homeless shelter?

Akhil Chandan, a business student and frequent visitor of Las Vegas, has developed a plan to hire the homeless on the strip. During his most recent trip, a friend pointed out the enormous contrast between those spending 4-5 thousand dollars at the high roller tables on one side of a wall, and 4-5 homeless sitting on the other side. This thought, developed into the idea of holding a mini job fair at a homeless shelter. From there, they will choose the member of the less fortunate that seems to be the most motivated towards a better life and pay them minimum wage to dress in a foam head costume of a famous athlete. They plan to charge between $3-5 per group pictures with tourists.


In order to raise funds for the project, Akhil has created a campaign on Indiegogo.com. Here they offer rewards ranging between a thank you picture, all the way to being able to name the Non-Profit Organization that will be created before the first character is put into action on September 15th. Even a small donation of $10 will go a long way to help reach the $6000 funding goal.
