A subsidiary of Alaska Airlines will end its nonstop flights between Las Vegas and Sonoma, Calif., beginning in June.
Horizon Air, which operates Alaska Airlines’ short-haul commuter flights, will discontinue the route, flown six days a week, beginning June 3 to make way for new flights, the Seattle-based airlines announced today.
Alaska will continue to offer one-stop service on the route through Los Angeles with code-share partners. No other airline has nonstop flights to Sonoma, located north of San Francisco in California’s wine country.
The airline announced this morning that it is adding flights between San Diego and Fresno, Monterrey and Santa Rosa, Calif., and between Reno and San Jose, beginning June 4 and 5.
