    • Harsch Investment Properties won two “Outstanding Building of the Year” awards from the Building Owners and Managers Association of Nevada. The Henderson Commerce Center won industrial office park of the year, while the Traverse Point Commerce Center was named warehouse or distribution facility of the year.

    • Shark Kage, which manufactures a multi-use vehicle ramp, won SEMA’s exterior accessory new product award.

    • The Werner Institute for Balance and Dizziness joined with Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers. The company, which specializes in diagnosing and treating patients with peripheral and central nervous system disorders, will operate as Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers at clinics at 9080 W. Cheyenne Ave., Las Vegas, and 9005 S. Pecos Road, Las Vegas.

    • A redesigned Apple Store at Fashion Show Mall recently opened.

    • Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center received the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s “Get With The Guidelines – Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award” for the fifth consecutive year. The award recognizes care for stroke patients.

    • Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace was named the top buffet in Las Vegas by USA Today for the second year in a row.

    • Red Mercury Entertainment will manage the Riviera’s showrooms and entertainment venues, including the Casino Lounge, Starlite Theater, Crazy Girls Theater and Riviera Comedy Club Theater.

    • NV Energy is a 2014 “Military Friendly Employer” by G.I. Jobs for the strength of its military recruiting efforts, retention programs and policies on National Guard and Reserve service.

    • The Penta Building Group completed a $43 million expansion of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America International Training Center, 6801 Placid St., Las Vegas. A 220,000 square foot addition includes shop space, a larger training center, a display area and museum. An opening ceremony is slated for early next year.

    • LaserMed Solutions opened a location at 777 N. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 200, Las Vegas. It offers Zerona Laser treatment, which uses a cold laser.

    • One7 communications is the agency of record for MCC Hospitality Group. One7 will provide marketing, advertising and public relations services for Morels Steakhouse and French Bistro at the Palazzo and d.vino Italian Food and Wine Bar and Dragon Noodle Company at the Monte Carlo.

    • Creel Printing achieved tri-certification for its commitment to sustainable manufacturing. Creel, founded in 1953, in among the top 50 commercial printers nationwide.

    • Technology supplier JCM Global provided all of the bill validators for the newly renovated Downtown Grand.

    • Orion Network Solutions, an IT company, moved to the Rob Roy Innevation Center. Orion’s clients include the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the West Virginia Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management.

    • OneBar at the Golden Gate downtown expanded. Named for the hotel’s address at 1 Fremont St., OneBar now features a large LED video screen and permanent platform for its flair bartenders.
