Mehmet Erdem
Mehmet Erdem is director of hospitality technology and innovation at UNLV’s William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration. He works to centralize innovation and technology efforts at the college.
Michon Martin was appointed general counsel by Gov. Brian Sandoval. She will represent the state in complex, high-exposure litigation. Martin has served as counsel to the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Department of Motor Vehicles and Department of Corrections. She most recently served as the state’s chief deputy attorney general.
Miriam Lira-Hickerson is ombudsman of consumer affairs for minorities at the Nevada Department of Business and Industry. She oversees the department’s minority education and outreach programs.
Gregory Spierkel joined the MGM Resorts International board of directors. Spierkel served for seven years as CEO of Ingram Micro Inc., a global technology distributor. He retired last year from the company, which markets and distributes technology products.

Rosamari McNulty
Rosamari McNulty joined the United Way of Southern Nevada’s Women’s Leadership Council. McNulty is senior director of human resources and volunteer services at Nathan Adelson Hospice.
The Women’s Chamber of Commerce named five women to its Hall of Fame as young professional leadership inductees. They are: Brittney Cobb, executive administrator, Suncoast; Lisa Santwer, director of marketing and public relations, Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada; Tammy Shaw, president and CEO, Las Vegas Women magazine; Rebecca West, director of human resources, Circus Circus; and Aynalem Workmeh, CEO, Hollywood Hair and Beauty Supply.

Geoffrey West was promoted to senior director of apartment investments at Cushman & Wakefield | Commerce. He has more than 17 years of experience in the Las Vegas market, working in commercial real estate lending and brokerage.
C. Roger Jeffries III and Edward Bassford joined Sun Commercial Real Estate. Jeffries specializes in net leased investments and storage facility sales. He previously worked for NAI Global. Bassford is a retail leasing and sales specialist with more than 38 years of experience. He previously worked for Weingarten Realty Investors.
Kim K. Metcalf will take over as dean of UNLV’s College of Education on July 1. She is director of institutional research and planning at the University of West Georgia and served as dean of that school’s College of Education for four years.
Feel Good Brands LLC, the developer of the Castle Walk Food Court inside Excalibur, hired Dana Piccolella, Laila Moravia and Stephanie Parisi. Piccolella is director of finance. Moravia is a financial analyst. Parisi is office manager.
Stacy Rocheleau participated in a panel discussion hosted by the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys. The topic was “Combining Motherhood with the Practice of Law.”
