    • Tony Bonnici, vice president and general manager of Lotus Broadcasting, joined the R&R Partners Foundation board of directors. Bonnici has worked for Lotus Broadcasting for 30 years and has served as its vice president and general manager for 25 years.

      Bob Faiss and Mark Clayton, shareholders in the gaming and regulatory law department at Lionel, Sawyer & Collins, were recognized in the 2013 edition of “Chambers Global: Gaming and Gambling Guide.” Both were named among the top 50 gaming attorneys in the world.

      Brittany Bleak is an administrative manager at LGA, an architecture firm. She will oversee data entry and payroll and help with human resources, marketing and public relations. Bleak has a bachelor’s degree from UNR.

    • A team of UNLV communications students, along with Rebelation Media and advisers Kathy Callahan and Dan Schott, won first place in their district at the National Student Advertising Competition in Irvine, Calif. The team created a Wal-Mart campaign for Glidden paint. The students will move on to the national competition at the American Advertising Federation National Conference in June.

      Cam Walker was promoted to vice president of business development for McCarthy Building Companies’ Nevada division. Walker joined the company in 2008 as director of business development. He helped secure several high-profile projects on the Strip, including Hakkasan at MGM Grand and Brooklyn Bowl at the Linq.

    • Dr. Timothy Trainor, a partner at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, was named a “Top Sports Medicine Specialist” by U.S. News and World Report. He also was named by Castle Connolly as one of “America’s Top Doctors” for the third consecutive year. He is the chief of orthopedic surgery at Centennial Hills Hospital and is a consulting physician for the Nevada Athletic Commission.

      Christian M. Orme, an attorney at Hutchison & Steffen, received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating an attorney can receive.

    • David Dubov is a marketing program manager at Textbroker International. He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and holds an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. He previously worked for Total Social Solutions, a digital marketing agency, and ESPN360.

    • Robert Hulshouser

      Robert Hulshouser

      Robert Hulshouser is a partner at Urban Environmental Research. He first joined the company in April 2011 as director of enterprise risk management. Hulshouser has more than 30 years of experience in the water, natural gas, electric and nuclear power generation industries. In addition, UER relocated its office to 2850 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Suite 200, in Henderson.

      Tony Gladney, vice president of national diversity relations for Caesars Entertainment, received a “Señores of Distinction” award from the Latin Chamber of Commerce. The awards honors people who have excelled professionally and contribute to the Latin community.

    • Mick Constantino is vice president of professional services at NEWave, a software supplier to the gaming industry. Constantino will oversee national training and implementation teams and direct the company’s project coordination. Constantino previously worked as director of program management for gaming and marketing systems for Caesars Entertainment.

      Kathy Parker

      Kathy Parker is senior executive administrator and free trade zone coordinator for the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance. She supports the LVGEA executive committee and board of trustees.

    • Silver State Schools Credit Union recently elected new board members. Incumbent directors Mitch Fox and Nicole Rourke and secretary/treasurer Teresa Yeoman each will serve another three-year term. The remaining members of the board are chairwoman Terry Mannion and directors Leonard Petoske, George Ann Rice and Joyce Woodhouse.

    • Var Lordahl, an associate in Lionel Sawyer & Collins’ business law department, joined the Foundation for an Independent Tomorrow’s board of directors. Lordahl focuses on trusts, estates and taxes and has experience working with nonprofits.
