Stephanie Carrero
Stephanie Carrero is branch manager at Nevada State Bank’s Rainbow and Westcliff location. Since joining the company in 2006, Carrero has worked as a financial services supervisor and assistant manager. In 2012, she was selected to participate in the bank’s mentor program. She also is a four-time retail quarterly recognition program honoree.
Kristen LoVullo and Ashley Mastowski, owners of Gimme Some Sugar cake shop, will open a second location this month. The Gimme Some Sugar Bake Shoppe will feature a seasonal menu of desserts, as well as champagne, wine, craft beers, coffees, teas and sipping chocolate.

Lucas Foletta
Lucas Foletta joined McDonald Carano Wilson. He previously served as general counsel for Gov. Brian Sandoval. Foletta formerly worked as an assistant U.S. attorney and law clerk for Sandoval, then a U.S. District Court judge.
Bruce Spotleson is director of corporate partnerships at Vegas PBS, responsible for developing corporate and institutional support for the station. He previously worked for the Greenspun Media Group since 1998 as a publisher, editor and general manager. Spotleson also serves as chairman-elect for the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce.

Andy Durling
Andy Durling, of Wood Rodgers, was named president of the Nevada Chapter of the American Planning Association. He previously served as director of the northern section of the APA’s Nevada Chapter. He will serve a two-year term.
Dr. Lynn Kowalski, medical director of MountainView Hospital’s Institute for Robotic Surgery, performed her 1,000th robotic surgery. Kowalski is board certified in gynecologic oncology. MountainView is the only hospital in Las Vegas to take part in a clinical trial that uses directed imaging during minimally invasive hysterectomies for cervical and uterine cancer.

Jeanne Goodrich
Las Vegas-Clark County Library District Executive Director Jeanne Goodrich was named librarian of the year at the 68th annual Nevada Library Association Conference in Reno. She was honored for her work advancing library services, addressing computer and technology needs and maintaining the district’s ranking as one the top 15 American libraries that serve more than 1 million people.

Sabrina Coleman was promoted to mortgage loan officer at the Clark County Credit Union. She has worked at the credit union since 2001 and previously was a mortgage loan processor and manager at the Shadow Lane branch.

Debra Baez is an operations and marketing administrator for Turnaround Management Association of Nevada.
Kandra Sackschewsky joined the Wealth Strategies Group. She has three years of experience in the financial services industry and previously worked at Northwestern Mutual.
William Lacey is chief financial officer of International Market Centers, which operates home furnishings, showroom and exhibition space.

Jim Heilmann
Jim Heilmann is senior general manager of Fashion Show Mall, owned and operated by General Growth Properties. Heilmann has more than 15 years of experience in retail and previously was senior general manager of the Park Place mall in Tucson, Ariz.. Fashion Show includes more than 250 specialty stores and restaurants, including seven anchor department stores.
Holly O’Brien is director of marketing for the Cannery in North Las Vegas. She will oversee database marketing, advertising, public relations, player development and the casino’s Can Club loyalty program. O’Brien has almost a decade of experience in the marketing industry and began her gaming career at Harrah’s St. Louis. She most recently worked as vice president of marketing at Warner Gaming.
The Women’s Chamber of Commerce will honor several community members during its 10th annual Athena Leadership Awards on Dec. 6 at the Monte Carlo. Honorees include: Phyllis James, executive vice president, special counsel for litigation and chief diversity officer at MGM Resorts International – Minority Lifetime Achievement Award; Amie Jo Greer, TV producer, host, writer and performer – Women in Entertainment and Media Award; Dr. Heather Allen, an oncologist at the Comprehensive Cancer Centers of Nevada – Athena Award; and Patricia Lee, a partner at Hutchison & Steffen – Young Professional Leadership Award.
Bruce Snyder is commissioner of the Local Government Employee Management Relations Board. He served as general counsel for the Las Vegas City Employees Association for more than 10 years.
Dr. Allen Marino is chief operating officer at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Marino previously worked for 13 years at St. Rose Dominican Hospitals, including most recently as chief medical officer. He has served as chairman of the Southern Nevada Health District’s medical advisory board and as a representative on the Regional Trauma Advisory Board.
