The Bunkhouse Saloon reopened Aug. 25 after a year-long closure.
The popular music venue and dive bar originally opened in 1953. Its recent revamp is part of the Downtown Project's Fremont East redevelopment initiative.

The Bunkhouse Saloon
Located at 124 S. 11th St., the Bunkhouse Saloon is touted as an ideal venue for indie-rock and emerging artists.
The saloon's new menu will feature a variety of options, including sloppy joes, short rib sandwiches and other traditional bar fare.
It’s open from 5 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Made L.V. at Tivoli Village
Made L.V. opened in Tivoli Village on Aug. 18.
The American tavern was opened by husband and wife team Kim Canteenwalla and Elizabeth Blau.
Located at 450 S. Rampart Blvd. #180 near the Alta Drive entrance to Tivoli Village, the 216-seat restaurant has an extensive menu, retro arcade games and patio seating.
It is open from 5-11 p.m. seven days a week, and from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday for lunch.

Capriotti's
Capriotti’s opened a new 24-hour location Aug. 25.
The sandwich shop is located on 3820 E Craig Rd. It is the 32nd Capriotti’s location in Las Vegas.
Founded in 1976, Capriotti’s is best known for its signature Thanksgiving sandwich, the Bobbie.
This Capriotti’s location is the second on Craig.

Excalibur Buffet
The Excalibur Buffet will be closing for renovation.
The renovation will begin today and will take approximately six months.
In the meantime, Excalibur will offer a breakfast special at the Steakhouse at Camelot.
