    • Parker Plastics, Inc.

      Parker Plastics Inc.

      North Las Vegas will house the 70,000-square-foot Parker Plastics Inc. manufacturing plant later this year, which will produce PET plastic bottles using reheat and blow processes. Nevada was chosen as a site for the plant due to its favorable business environment and proximity to key markets in Northern and Southern California. The company hopes to offer customers competitive prices and unmatched customer service.

    • Oakley | 3663 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Suite 15, Las Vegas

      One of the world’s leading sports performance brands, Oakley, is coming to the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood on July 18.

      The store will feature a selection of active and lifestyle eyewear, apparel and other accessories in core sport categories. An interactive area in the store will allow customers to build custom eyewear and have it produced on the spot.

      Open: 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday–Thursday; 10 a.m. to midnight Friday–Saturday

      Vivint Solar

      Vivint Solar, the leading provider of residential solar systems in the United States, is expanding its services to include new offices in Nevada and New Mexico.

      “We are excited to continue our growth as we enter into these new states. It enables us to continue offering affordable, renewable energy to more people,” Chance Allred, vice president of sales, said.

      The company plans to open two offices in Las Vegas.

    • The Ferraro family is expanding with two locations of new concept Pizza Forte.

      The Ferraro family, most notable for Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant and Wine Bar, is bringing a fine selection of hot dogs and pizza to the Hard Rock Hotel with the opening of the valley’s second Pizza Forte location later this month. Customers can select from a variety of pizza, all built from homemade crusts, as well as three varieties of world-famous Hofmann hot dogs.

    • Streetcar Po-Boys

      Streetcar Po-Boys | 5201 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas

      Southern sandwich shop Streetcar Po-Boys re-opened July 8 after it had to move out of its original location due to a project to widen Interstate 15. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes ranging from crawfish sausage to Cajun fried macaroni and cheese.

      Open: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday–Saturday
