A local hotel and casino plans to hire for more than 70 open positions during a job fair Friday, but prospective candidates need not wait to apply.
JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa and Rampart Casino needs assistance in departments throughout the property, including accounting, food and beverage, dealers, engineering, housekeeping, payroll, spa/salon, sales, security and sports book. Qualified candidates will receive interviews at the job fair.
Candidates are encouraged to apply in advance of the job fair at theresortatsummerlin.com/careers. Applications also will be accepted at the event, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Grand Ballroom D&E. The property is located at 221 N. Rampart Blvd. in Las Vegas.
