Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas will open for the summer June 22, officials for the southwest Las Vegas water park announced today.

The park will operate at 50% normal capacity in accordance with social distancing requirements established by the state in its reopening plan of the economy after coronavirus closures.

Other planned changes include: touchless sanitizer dispensers at each ride, social distancing markers and temperature checks to enter the park. A temperature of more than 100.4 degrees is one of the signs of COVID-19.

“We’re excited to finally be able to open the park, while doing all we can to ensure the health, safety and enjoyment of our guests and employees,” said Justin LuCore, Wet’n’Wild Las Vegas general manager, in a statement.

More important: Life jackets, slide tubes and raft touch points will be disinfected after each ride.
