Upcoming events to fetch billions in revenue for Las Vegas, tourism agency reports

Steve Hill, CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, talks to the media Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, about 15 blockbuster events coming over the next several months to the Las Vegas Valley. Hill estimates those 15 events will bring revenue of at least $10 billion to the area. Optimistically, it could reach $15 billion, he said.

Tourism chief Steve Hill made sure to stress that tourism officials and resort leaders aren’t slowing in their approach to book new events.

Frustrated by contract negotiations, Vegas hospitality workers consider strike
