Las Vegas valley's first family grief center. Trained volunteers lead group sessions where children, teens and adults who have lost a loved one can help each other through the bereavement process.
During September 2010, interested residents – children ages 2 to 18, and adults – can visit the center between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Monday. Future participants must attend an orientation and begin the program during the first week of the month. Groups meet every other week at 6 p.m.
The center operates between September and June.
