Girl Scouts Of Southern Nevada Inc

OUR MISSION

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world
a better place.

OUR VISION

To prepare girls for a lifetime of leadership, success and adventure in a safe, no-limits place designed for, and by, girls.

OUR GOALS

Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada is committed to providing leadership development
programs that fearlessly leverage our mission and provide every girl in Southern Nevada an opportunity to experience: STEAM education, outdoor experiences, entrepreneurship opportunities and real-world activities.

FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

Fall Product Program
(September 1 – October 30, 2020):

The Fall Product Program combines educational activities with money-earning opportunities for local Girl Scout troops. During the program, Girl Scouts sell nuts, candy and magazines, which help with troop start up funds.

Girl Scout Cookie Program
(February 2021):

The largest girl-led entrepreneurial program in the world helps fund troop activities and teaches Girl Scouts about the importance of financial literacy. All proceeds raised stay in Southern Nevada and help Girl Scouts attend camp, fund trips and complete service projects.

Dessert Before Dinner (April 24, 2021):

At the annual Dessert Before Dinner gala, guests really will eat dessert before their dinner. The dinner honors outstanding female leaders in the Las Vegas community whose vision, influence and example define what it means to be a Girl Scout. Support directly impacts local Girl Scouts who depend on financial aid to engage in the outdoors, STEAM, entrepreneurship and life skills programs.

Strong Men Who Support Strong
Women:

We are reaching out to the strong men in our community to help us empower the next generation of strong women with a commitment of $1,000. With your help, we can show girls that Strong Men Support Strong Women today, tomorrow and always.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Have you always wanted to make an impact on the life of a girl in our community? Are you looking for opportunities to give back and volunteer during these unprecedented times? As a Girl Scout volunteer, you will introduce girls to new experiences that show them they are capable of more than they ever imagined. To be a champion of female ambition, visit girlscoutsnv.org/volunteer or call 702-385-3677.
